Who we serve
For the people who carry the mission and the reporting.
We work with churches, foundations, and community organizations, alongside the executive directors, boards, and finance committees inside them. The money has strings, and the reporting has to hold up.
Signals we are a fit
If two or three of these sound like your year, we should talk.
We fit by situation rather than by size. What matters is how much of the reporting is held together by hand.
- The board packet takes a week to assemble
- Restricted funds live in a spreadsheet next to the accounting system
- The audit is a scramble every spring
- Grant reporting gets rebuilt from scratch each time
- Nobody can say what a program actually costs to run
- Your executive director is matching the books to the bank statement
The first ninety days
What actually happens, in order.
Days 0-30
Onboard
We get bank access, collect the documents, and set you up on the right platforms, including a way to track each fund inside the accounting system instead of in a side spreadsheet.
Days 0-30
Meet your team
A kick-off call with the financial operations team, questions first. We want to hear how the organization runs, who the board is, and what the reporting calendar looks like.
Days 30-60
Set up the routine
We build the processes that keep the financials and the programs running together: gift and grant handling, allocations, approvals, and a close date the board packet can sit on.
Days 60-90
Find the new normal
A steady rhythm, built on a working relationship. Restricted balances stay current, the board packet comes out of the system, and audit requests get answered without a scramble.
Organizations
Where we spend most of our time.
This is where most of our work sits today, not a list of who we can help. If you are not on it, tell us anyway. Odd problems are some of our favorites.
- Churches
- Foundations
- Community organizations
- Summer camps
- Sports organizations
Working with a board
We can present the financials to your board ourselves.
- We can present in the room, in person or on the call
- Plain language, and we explain the accounting behind a number when someone asks
- Written for people who do not read financials for a living
- A finance committee packet that says what changed and what needs a decision

Send us your last board packet, however it looks.
We will tell you what we would change first and whether we are the right people to do it.
